Notes for: John Burns Patterson

Acquired Patterson House in McConnellsburg, built by Thomas Logan in 1798, at
the time of his marriage to Ann Galloway Hunter. The farm on which it is
located is a mile south of McConnellsburg, PA on US 522, and was once known as
the Hoke Farm. The house has been known as Brookside. The farm was the last
Confederate campsite in Pennsylvania on July 30-31, 1864.
